Our Story
Every piece we make starts the same way with a door.
Across old neighborhoods, generations of woodworkers carved entryways by hand: arches, lattices, floral lattice-work, each one unique, each one built to outlast the people who made it. Most of those doors are still standing. The craft behind them is quietly disappearing.
We started tracing those patterns not printing them, not running them through a machine, but sitting with local artisans and translating each motif into hand embroidery, thread by thread, the same slow way the original carving was done. It takes longer. It costs more. We think that's the point.
Every run we produce is small and limited on purpose. We're not chasing scale, we're chasing accuracy to where these patterns came from, and making sure the hands doing the embroidery are paid properly for the time it actually takes. No two garments are stitched exactly the same, because no two hands are.
This isn't a heritage label stitched onto something mass-produced. It's an attempt to keep a real craft in use, one door, one pattern, one artisan at a time.
